Baptisia Midnight Prairieblues
Great plant for vertical accent in any garden Baptisia Midnight Prairieblues was developed by Dr. Jim Ault at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe Illinois. The plant is shorter than regular false indigo 3-4 feet high vase-shaped habit with extremely long inflorescences bearing deep blue-violet flowers. The plant has two intermingling bloom cycles within its blooming season. The first cycle produces long primary inflorescences up to 24″ long. The second cycle produces blooms on secondary branches with inflorescences up to 5″ long. Once established plants will bloom through the entire month of June.US PP#20432....
